Jess, Boo, and I are in Salt Lake City tonight. After we left Yosemite, we made a pit stop in Reno, NV to see the lovely Sara Jenkins. In a spurt of inspiration, we decided to get Jon Krakauer's "Under the Banner of Heaven" on audiobook for our drive into Utah. The book is about fundamentalist Mormons from the writer of "Into the Wild" and "Into Thin Air." It was interesting to say the lease and some of the towns we drove through got mentioned in the book. We are staying in a motel in Salt Lake so we got to take showers for the first time in a couple of days. It felt very good!
We're heading to Yellowstone tomorrow...more scenery=more dirt!
